When it comes to good music, we know you’ve got lots of options.
And so to thank you for keeping your dial tuned in to 104.5 the U, Aubrey promises to keep you plugged in to all the hottest events and activities going on around town.
Gift cards to local restaurants, tickets to concerts and plays, registrations to far-off getaways – whether you’re looking for a fun way to spend a weekend with the family or just need a good excuse to enjoy a weeknight out with friends, you’re always bound to score something sweet just by being a part of our listening family.
And while she has giveaways all throughout the week, both on-air as well as through our Facebook page, Aubrey sets aside Monday as a very special day. It’s called Picnic Party, and she saves her biggest prizes and giveaways for that day.
And what’s a party without jams, right? Well, between all the fun announcements and giveaways Aubrey will also use this hour to unveil all the new tracks introduced to the U lineup.
Prizes, events, new music – all in one hour. It’s the 104.5 the U Picnic Party! Tune in during the 11 am hour every Monday and start reaping the rewards!
NOTE: Picnic Party will be on hiatus Christmas and New Years days, but will return on Jan. 8.

FIRST NIGHT MISSOULA
-Dec. 31, 2017, various locations-
Mike is filling in for Aubrey this week, and he’s excited to give one lucky listener a pair of all-access buttons to this year’s First Night events!
Hosted each year by Arts Missoula, First Night is a family-friendly, alcohol-free New Years celebration that is all about the arts! Singing, dancing, drumming, visual arts – if a local group can perform, demonstrate or showcase it, it’s more than likely going to be among the heavy agenda for this fabulous celebration.
Last year’s schedule included live performances from Captain Wilson Conspiracy, Jodi Marshall, Sweet Adelines, Mudslide Charley and more. Also: Watercolor demos, a Kung Fu movie marathon at the Roxy, free swimming at Currents and planetarium shows on the UM Campus.
A highlight in recent years has been the First Night Spotlight – a talent show-style singing competition featuring the best local high school talent.
And then – as usual – we’ll all countdown to midnight at the UC Ballroom to the jams of the Ed Norton Big Band!
