Natural Grocers is celebrating their 62nd anniversary on Thursday, and 104.5 The U is excited to share in the festivities!
Not only do we share the Colorado-based grocery store’s nutrition standards and laud their community health principles, we just feel good about any person or organization that makes personal empowerment part of their overall mission.
From nutrition education programs and a commitment to affordable, high-quality inventory – as well as taking care of their employees – Natural Grocers sets a great standard for how a local business should operate.
So while they’re partying “like its 1955” over at their store on South Third Street (free schwag, prize giveaways, recipe demos and samplings plus an ice cream social featuring both dairy and non-dairy ingredients 4-6 pm) – The U is having fun with an anniversary giveaway of our own.
We’ve got two pairs of tickets for next month’s big Michael Franti & Spearhead show out at Big Sky Brewing Company, and we’re going to give them both away on the air tomorrow.
