I have always, always loved the Muppets. I don’t know what it is. Their sense of humor, their compassion, their “drama”
…Even after all of these years I still haven’t figured out my favorite character…Some days it’s Kermit…Some days it Beeker…And often I find myself channeling Miss Piggy. Needless to say, I am OVER THE MOON excited for the new Muppets TV show airing on ABC tonight. (See trailer below)
But is all of this okay? I mean, I am 26 years old. I just got married. I have a ‘big girl job’…But here I am, having a dinner party tonight so my friends and I can watch the premier of the MUPPETS. Like, am I really a 10 year old or something? I have been questioning this for awhile…And you know what– YES it’s okay. Because when I was 10, I wasn’t allowed to watch TV, drink wine, or operate the stove myself. So maybe 16 years later this was all meant to happen at just the right time.
So yea, that’s what I am doing tonight. Sitting in the house that I own, with my husband, a glass of wine, and a delicious meal. All to watch The Muppets.
