Now that Star Wars: The Force Awakens has hit theaters and most of us have enjoyed the story about a galaxy, far, far away, it’s time to look forward to new movie releases in 2016. Below is a list of a few I’m looking forward to. It seems Hollywood will be cashing in on the sequels this year.

Release date: Feb. 12 (I like men in tight outfits)

Release date: April 15 (Talking animals are silly)

 

X Men: Apocalypse

Release date: May 27 (Who doesn’t like a good apocalypse?)

 

Warcraft
Release date: June 10 (Orcs are sexy)

 

Independence Day: Resurgence
Release date: June 24 (Why is Will Smith not in this?)

 

Star Trek Beyond

Release date: July 22 (I like to pretend that I’m far, far away. Wait, that’s the other space franchise.)

 

Suicide Squad

Release date: Aug. 5 (Because Smith is in this one instead)

 

Gambit
Release date: Oct. 7 (Because I already own all of the X-men)

 

Doctor Strange
Release date: Nov. 4 (Benny is hot.)

 

Mrs. Peregrine’s Home for Peculiars
Release date: Dec. 25 (I read the book )
